Employment OpportunitySt. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Parish in Hiawatha, IA is seeking a part-time Coordinator of Children’s Ministry. The ideal candidate will have a love for Jesus Christ, children and the Catholic faith; a heart for teaching and sharing faith, ability to work collaboratively with parents and adult leaders. This position will involve overseeing the children’s programming offered during the weekend experience; PRAYground (nursery) and Children’s Liturgy of the Word at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton. A Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education and/or experience with children in an educational or faith setting preferred. Position begins July 1.

The St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Children's Ministry program strives to encourage and empower young children to become the best version of themselves by bringing them into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ.

- partnering with parents, who are the primary teachers of the Catholic faith, by providing resources and inviting involvement.
- instilling a love of God, His Church, and His word by presenting Biblical truths in a creative, age-appropriate, and engaging way.
- providing a safe place for children emotionally, physically, and spiritually.
- developing a community of faithful friends committed to loving Jesus and each other.
- mentoring children, families, and our parish community through relationships and example.
