Do you have a few hours or a few days to spare? Our Maintenance Supervisor, Bob, could use some help with a project or two around the church! He would really appreciate as little or as much as you can share. Click the image below to see an update on the projects going on and what he could use some help with.

Did you know that St. EAS has a monthly ministry to assist in feeding others in our community? The Catholic Worker House depends on monthly meals from the St. EAS Homeless Shelter Meal Teams to help serve the families in their homeless shelter, who are mostly women and children.
Currently, we need additional volunteers to build up the teams. The commitment is easy! Volunteers are placed on a team that provides three meals during the year. Each member is asked to donate one or more items on the ingredients list, during the month they're responsible for. All items are dropped off at St. EAS. A volunteer collects the items and prepares and delivers the meal to the Catholic Worker House on the first Saturday of the month.
If you are interested in sharing in this beautiful and much-needed ministry, please contact Kathy Lester (319-393-3778).
Community support makes a huge difference when facing hardships and life transitions such as illness, cancer treatments, natural disasters, caring for elderly parents or having a new baby.
We're excited to offer a ministry where volunteers donate meals and groceries to support members of our community in those situations. If you're feeling called to help NOURISH members of our community, we'd love to have you as part of this ministry! As a volunteer, you'll have a choice of responding to requests as your schedule allows.
