“Journey in Faith” is the Archdiocese of Dubuque’s pastoral planning initiative designed to renew discipleship, strengthen our Catholic communities, and align parish structures to better fulfill the mission of the Church.

We are moving from simply maintaining the parishes we have, towards a more mission-focused network of parishes called pastorates. 

The "Journey in Faith" initiative is guided by our shared values of prayer, worship, charity, and lifelong learning. 

Below you will find information about our newly formed pastorate (as of July 14th) and our interim Mass schedule. 

The heart of the Church’s mission is to spread the saving name of Jesus who is the Good News; it is the responsibility and privilege of all the faithful to take up this task anew amidst the increasing challenges of the world today.

In late 2024, Archbishop Zinkula began an envisioning process to gather feedback from across the archdiocese with the goal to clarify the local Church’s mission, vision, and values.
